Paradigm21 values honesty and clarity and is committed to building strong and lasting relationships, based on trust and mutual benefit, with those who subscribe to our newsletter, participate in our trainings or seek our coaching services. In keeping with this philosophy, the protection of your personal data is essential to us; in this privacy policy, we would like to inform you about how we collect and process this data.

This Privacy Policy sets out and informs you of the manner in which Paradigm21 uses and protects the information you provide to us, if any, when you use this site accessible from the following URL: https://www.paradigm21.ch/ (hereinafter “the site”), the site of our Academy at the URL https://www.paradigm21.academy/ (hereinafter referred to as “the Academy”) or that your data is transmitted to us by our partner ValueMatch as part of an individual or collective diagnosis (hereinafter referred to as “ValueMatch”).

Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented by Paradigm21 at any time, particularly to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological changes. Should this be the case, the date of the update will be clearly stated at the beginning of this policy. These changes are binding on the user as soon as they are put online. Users are therefore advised to regularly check this privacy and cookie policy in order to be aware of any changes.

I. PERSONAL DATA (ON THE SITE AND THE ACADEMY)

It is generally possible to visit the Site without providing any personal information about yourself. In any event, you are under no obligation to share this information with Paradigm21. However, in the event that you refuse to provide this information, you may not be able to access some of the information or services that you have requested. In this respect, Paradigm21 may in some cases ask you to provide the following information (hereinafter your “Personal Information”):

  • first name and last name ;
  • e-mail address;
  • how you found out about Paradigm21, for statistical purposes;
  • information for surveys that we use for scientific and statistical purposes.

By providing this information, you expressly agree that it may be processed by Paradigm21 for the purposes stated in Point 2 below and for the purposes mentioned at the end of each form.

Paradigm21 informs you of the following points:

1. Identity of the data processor

The person in charge of the processing is the company Paradigm21 Ltd Liab. Co, having its registered office in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Email : [email protected]

2. Purposes of the data processing

Paradigm21 may process your Personal Information:

(a) to provide you with the information or services you have requested to receive (e.g., sending you newsletters following your registration, participation in training sessions, etc.); and/or
(b) to collect information that enables us to improve our Site, our products and services (including through cookies.

3. Recipients

Paradigm21 is the only recipient of your Personal Information. This information, whether individually or as part of aggregate data, is never disclosed to any third party. Paradigm21 does not sell the personal data of visitors and users of its Site.

4. Retention period

Your personal information is kept by Paradigm21 only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in 2 above, which shall in any case not exceed 24 months after your last visit to the site or the Academy, the end of the training you attended or the cancellation of your subscription to our newsletter.

II. POLICY ON CUSTOMER DATA AND DIAGNOSTICS (VALUEMATCH)

Paradigm21 undertakes to keep confidential all client data collected within the framework of the support mandates and diagnoses (ValueMatch), and not to communicate them to any third party without the prior consent of the persons or clients concerned.

ValueMatch, which produces the diagnostic results at our request, processes all participant data in accordance with its data protection policy. The data is transmitted to us through Dropbox which stores the data in the United States. As per ValueMatch’s request, the data only resides on Dropbox’s servers for a maximum of 7 days and once the data is retrieved by Paradigm21, it is deleted from Dropbox. In addition, Dropbox is compliant with the European GDPR regulation.

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the personal data of the ValueMatch diagnostic profiles are only communicated individually to the persons concerned. The data collected is also used to produce collective profiles (which contain only an aggregation of individual results). These are sent to all participants in the group in question, as well as to the principal if the latter is not part of the group.

Paradigm21 keeps the diagnostic data for a maximum of 24 months after the end of the coaching mandate.

III. HOSTING, DATA STORAGE BY THIRD PARTY COMPANIES

We host our website with the Swiss company Hoststar – Multimedia Networks AG. Their infrastructure is based in Berlin, Germany and they declare themselves compliant with the European GDPR regulation.

We use the learning platform of the American company Thinkific Labs Inc. for our Academy training course. Training participants’ data (first name, last name, e-mail address, mailing address, registration for training modules, progress in the training program, participation in a cohort (group) and any messages posted as comments on training content or in the community) are stored on Thinkific’s servers in the USA. The company declares itself compliant with the European GDPR regulation and is committed to data privacy according to their data protection policy.

We use Microsoft servers for our email (Exchange), internal messaging (Teams) and for storing our internal and customer data (SharePoint). Our email (Exchange) and internal messaging (Teams) data are stored in Switzerland by Microsoft and internal and customer data (SharePoint) are stored in the European Union by Microsoft. All confidential data provided to us by customers as well as the results of ValueMatch diagnoses can be transmitted via our e-mail system (Exchange) and are stored on our data server (SharePoint).

None of this data is stored in the United States or passes through servers hosted in that country. In addition, Microsoft declares itself compliant with the European GDPR regulation.

IV. COOKIE POLICY (ON THE SITE AND THE ACADEMY)

Our cookie policy allows you to better understand the measure in place around the browsing of our Site. In particular, it informs you of all cookies on our Site and their purpose (Part 1), and sets out the procedure to follow to change your cookie settings (Part 2).

1. General information about cookies on the Paradigm21 website

Paradigm21, as the publisher of this Site, may install a cookie on the hard drive of your device (computer, tablet, mobile etc.) in order to guarantee you smooth and optimal browsing on our Site. “Cookies” are small text files of a limited size that allow us to recognize your computer, tablet or mobile phone in order to personalize the services that we offer you.

The information collected through cookies does not identify you by name in any way. It is used exclusively for our own purposes, in order to improve the interactivity and performance of our Site and to send you content tailored to your interests. None of this information is disclosed to third parties except where Paradigm21 has obtained your prior consent or where disclosure is required by law, by order of a court or any administrative or judicial authority with the appropriate jurisdiction.

To help you to better understand the information that cookies identify, below is a list of the different types of cookies that may be used on the Paradigm21 Site, as well as their name, purpose and retention period.

Audience analysis cookies: Google Analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer to analyse how you use the Site. The information obtained by these cookies about your use of the Site is transmitted to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored. Within EU Member States or European Economic Area States, however, your IP address is abridged and anonymized by Google. Facebook Pixel

Facebook’s Website Custom Audiences communication tool is used on this Site. For the purposes of its use, Facebook pixels are embedded on our Sites, which mark you as a visitor to our Site in anonymized form so that we cannot identify you as a person. When you then connect to Facebook, a non-reversible and therefore non-personal checksum (hash value) of your usage data is sent to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. Facebook can then assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We may use the information obtained in this way to display advertisements on Facebook.
